NMC developed its first anti-virus called Check Program© in the decade of 90’s. This product revolutionized the concept of protection against viruses and was nominated for best new technology introduced at COMDEX Fall’97 held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.

NMC has developed and sold MD Lock patents and selling rights to MD Technology SA for global distribution.

The system called MD Lock © participated in the III Alcatel Award for Technology Innovation in Latin America.

NMC won first prize in Ecuador in September of the year 2000 and was a finalist in the competition held in Lima, Peru, in October of the same year.

In 2.004, NMC proposed a first prototype of a symmetric flow encryption algorithm called NMC Stream©, which successfully passed the tests FIPS 140-1 with an average of 99.62% of quality of randomness of the generated sequence.

That result is supported by a team of cryptologists at the University of Jaén.

Our company’s continuous research has led it to develop OTPCipher©, the first practical implementation of the One Time Pad algorithm that meets Shannon’s criterion.

This research and development has been used or cited by renowned companies worldwide.

Moreover, We have had clients such as the Armed Forces of Ecuador or foreign companies in countries like Israel.

NMC Research is working towards FIPS 140 certification to enter the North American (US and Canada) market.
